How long can I expect work set by the school to take my child each day?

Accessing remote education

How will my child access any online remote education you are providing?

The digital platform we use is Google classroom. It can be accessed from a PC, Mac, Smartphone, Tablet or Chromebook. 学生还可以在瓦德格雷夫学生VLE(虚拟学习环境)上获得广泛的资源。.  家里没有合适设备的学生可以安排从学校借一台Chromebook.  We don't encourage the use of Smartphones to complete classwork, please contact us if this is your only access to school learning.

If my child does not have digital or online access at home, how will you support them to access remote education?

How will my child be taught remotely?

• Live teaching (online lessons)

• Recorded teaching - we use Loom Video and YouTube Video

• Textbooks and reading books that pupils have at home

• Activities where students may be required to join in a physical activity, use physical resources, carry out an experiment etc.

Engagement and feedback

We expect students to:

Parents can help their child with remote learning in the following ways

How will you assess my child’s work and progress?

• Individual comments posted on handed back work in Google classroom

Additional support for pupils with particular needs
